The Jaswantpura hills are covered with greenery and preserve the historical heritage. According to the history, wildlife of different species used to roam in large numbers in these hills during the princely period. Due to which the king Maharaja used to come here for hunting, in the Lohianagarh fort built in the hill, those days, the princely state of Jodhpur Marwar, Naresh Jaswantsih, called it mini mount with mini Kashmir.

After this, on the development of the hill, the former king of Jodhpur, Jaswant Singh, had also constructed a road to reach the mountains, which are still available today. But due to lack of maintenance, the roads are scattered.Raja Maharajas who came from the erstwhile princely house had built drawing rooms, hospitals, queen palace in the hills and also built dungeons to punish dangerous criminals.

According to the history, King Maharaja from the neighbouring states of Marwar, Gujarat lived here for months and lived here for months, and during the summer days, the hills are surrounded by greenery and the waterfalls falling here in the rain delighted with the colour of birds of different species. Used to be even today, two watchmen are appointed to look after the ancient fortification.

At present, the district has been seeing indigenous tourists from the surrounding districts to see the fort, but due to lack of presence on the tourism map of the region, other states and foreign tourists are not aware of this place. To reach LohianaGarh fort, one has to travel a distance of 17 km, earlier vehicles used to go up through this route. But due to heavy rains last year, the road is completely broken, so it is not possible to go above the vehicle.

Two big ponds have been built on the hill: Two big ponds have also been built on the hill, one of which is known as Majiba, which is still full of water. The elders of the area say that this pond holds water for 12 months. Due to which the wildlife wandering in the mountains quench their thirst. At the same time, the amazing thing is that there is also a sweet water well, due to which tourists coming to the hill quench thirst with the sweet water of the wells; the wells also have water for twelve months.

At the same place, near the Kothi on the hill, the water of the pond is flowing in vain due to water leakage in the second pond. In the rainy days, the waterfalls flow on the hill to see the historical buildings built on the hill. At the same time, after seeing the waterfalls falling from the hills on the rainy days and the green valley’s all around, the locals still come here once during the rainy days.
